As technology evolves, we seem to be drifting away from the physical world and immersing ourselves in small screens that serve as a window to a virtual world where we can do and be whatever we want. As we transition to this digital era, we sometimes become unaware of our surroundings, solely focused on the screen in front of us.

We have become so consumed by this digital world that things that should be important to us, such as family gatherings, walks in the park, and conversations with friends, are slowly becoming less significant as we become more and more engrossed in digital content. We stare at screens all the time – at bus stops, during meals, and even when someone is right in front of us trying to have a conversation. We seem to slip away and pick up our phones because we believe the most important things in life are happening there, and to an extent, they are. Our obsession with digital content is causing us to fall into a state of oblivion about our own reality.
